The 2016 Summer Collection from Rococo Chocolates carry you off to exciting places; you can almost feel the sun and smell the fruit in these delicious ganaches. The inspiration for these flavours reflects all four continents exploring and incorporating local delicacies of the season.
Lychee & Thai Lime (Thailand, Asia)
This is an unusual combination of Thai lime zest and Madagascan dark ganache, with fruity lychee undertones.
Piña Colada (Australia, Australasia)
Coconuts and pineapples both fruit during the summer months, so Rococo whipped them up into a refreshing Piña Colada jelly with coconut cubes.
Huckleberry Pie (Montana, North America)
Ripe blueberries make delicious pies. Here’s the Rococo version – fruity blueberry jelly and ganache, topped with a sable disc.
Honey & Sea Salt Caramel (Wales, Europe)
Pembrokshire’s summer bees collect nectar from wild blackberries and coastal gorse. This luscious caramel balances Coedcanlas honey and Halen Mon sea salt in a milk chocolate dome. This chocolate won a Gold Medal at the recent Academy of Chocolate awards…
The ganaches are available loose in all Rococo shops now, £135/kg. Boxes of 4 choc (£6.95) and 12 choc (£17.50) will be available in store and online from 1st July.

Easter is early this year and after a mild winter so is Spring. This has inspired the decoration on Rococo’s latest artistically hand painted egg: Blossom, a delightfully sunny looking egg with a cherry blossom branch across the front.
BLOSSOM EGG weighs a full 1lb and is made with Rococo’s 65% cocoa dark chocolate house blend. The blend contains cocoa from Tanzania, Peru and the Dominican Republic, as well as cocoa from Rococo’s own farm in Grenada. The dark chocolate shell is topped with a thin white chocolate layer, which is hand painted with beautiful cherry blossom design. It contains a selection of chocolates, including traditional floral fondant creams, fresh cream truffles and delicate ganaches handmade in London, as well as a selection of dark and milk chocolate carres.
This beautiful egg retails at £42.50, and available in all the Rococo stores only.
By popular demand two of Rococo’s fresh couture ganaches are now also available online: the House truffle and the Sea salt caramel truffles.
The House dark truffle made with Madagascar chocolate is enrobed in dark chocolate and finished in cocoa powder.
Silver medalist at the International awards 2012 and a Gold medal winner at the Academy of Chocolate awards 2013. A wonderful introduction to artisan ganaches with Madagascan Criollo and Trinitario Chocolate flavours. Plenty of bright red berry flavour in the chocolate. This is one for chocolate purists.
Fresh from winning a Silver medal at the Academy of Chocolates’ 2015 awards these Sea salt caramel milk chocolate ganaches are enrobed in dark chocolate and dusted in cocoa powder.
Rococo’s take on the ever-popular sea salted caramel and our best-selling chocolate. Made using Halon Môn Anglesey Sea Salt. Anglesey is only a stone’s throw from our Chester store and this sea salt has long been Chantal’s favourite.
Both are sold in 100g ballotin boxes and retail at £13.50. Please note that these are fresh ganaches and therefore have a comparatively short shelf life. Dates are displayed on the website.
In ancient folklore birds chose their mate for the year on February 14. Since doves, as well as other birds, mate for life, they symbolize loyalty, fidelity and love.
