Carl Hansen & Son
Carl Hansen opened his first workshop in 1908 in Odense, Denmark and soon became known for the high quality of his furniture.
The cooperation between Carl Hansen & Son and Hans J. Wegner began in 1949. The first models, including the legendary CH_24, "The Wishbone Chair", were introduced in 1950. Many of the chairs including the Wishbone and the Wingchair have become and sought- after collector's items adored by connoisseurs from all over the world.
Today, Carl Hansen & Son continues to cooperate closely with the Hans J. Wegner Studio to introduce or re-introduce outstanding designs from the treasure chest that Wegner left behind.
